*Subject:**Pool report 4/full Trump quote on North Korea (and fixing typos in report 3)*

Here is Trumps fuller remarks on North Korea. Also in pool report 3 the pool inaccurately typed play hold but meant play golf .. Also your pooler yelled a question to Trump of whether he has had direct communications with Kim Jong Un. Not clear if Trump heard the question and he didnt answer. Pooler also asked Potus where the Kim summit should be. He replied five locations and appeared to mean they are looking at 5 different potential sites.

As always please check against official transcript

Trump

North Korea is coming along. South Korea is meeting and has plans to meet to see if they can end the war and they have my blessing on that. Theyve been very generous that without us and without me in particular, I guess, they wouldnt be discussing anything and the Olympics would have been a failure. As you know North Korea participated in the Olympics and it was really quite an Olympics. It was quite a success. That would not have happened.

They do have my blessing to discuss the end of the war. People dont realize the Korean War has not ended. Its going on right now. And they are discussing an end to the war. Subject to a deal they have my blessing and they do have my blessing to discuss that.

Japan and ourselves are locked and we are very unified on the subject of North Korea. We will probably be, depending on various meetings and conversations well be having , well be having discussions with Kim Jong Un very soon. That will be taking place probably in early June or before that assuming things go well. Its possible things wont go well and we wont have the meetings and well just continue to go on this very strong path we have taken.

On golf: Were going to sneak out tomorrow and play a round of golf if possible.

More quotes from Trump from co-poller Jerome Cartiller of AFP:

Many of the world's great leaders request to come to Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach.

They like it, I like it, we're comfortable, we have great relationships.

As you remember we were here and president Xi of China was here.

It was originally built as the Southern White House. It was called the Southern White house. It was given to the United sStates. And then Jimmy Carter decided it was too expensive for the United States so they fortunately for me gave it back and i bought it.

Again many of the leaders want to be here, they request specifically.

They've been very generous that without us and without me in particular, I guess you would have to say, they wouldn't have had anything, including the Olympics would have been a failure they would have had a severe problem. And the Olympics was quite a success and that would not have happened.

People do not realize the Korean war has not ended. It's going on right now and they are discussing an end to the war. So subject to a deal, they would certainly have my blessing and they do have my blessing to discuss that.
