*Subject:* *Pool report #7/MS-13 event ends - Trump reiterates shutdown threat*

Pool departed Cabinet Room at 2:50 pm -- 59 minutes after participants arrived.
Rep. Martha McSally: "We've got to stop them at the border where I live."
Trump wrap-up comments: "In all that was said were doing much better than any administration by far. By far. Nobody even comes close. Still, we have a long way to go. we can only be as good as the law. Because right now we want to do things and they say well there's a law against this, there's a law against that, there's a law against everything. We have people coming into the country, we can't get them out and it's ridiculous. Nobody even believes is. So, we have one good shot at it and it's now."
Asked by pooler Steve Holland about his shutdown comments, Trump said: "I would shut it down over this issue. I can't speak for everybody at the table but I will tell you, I would shut it down over this issue. If we don't straighten out our border, we don't have a country. Without borders we don't have a country. So wouldI would shut it down over this issue? Yes. I can't speak for our great representatives here but I have a feeling they may agree with me."
